has anyone here had good experiences from online dating sites?

Author: i just made an account a about a week ago and i’ve already gotten many respones from local singles in my area and i’ve even gotten a couple of numbers.
i was just wondering if anyone else has used online dating site and have had good experiences or even relationships from using online dating sites like plentyoffish, zoosk, ect

my friend met her fiance on match, and after one really bad date, she managed to convince me to join, which i did. i met my husband, completely by chance. i sent him a note because his profile made me laugh, and i wanted to tell him that, not a romantic note or anything. his account was supposed to be over that day, but he got the note and responded. we got married a little over a year after we met, and are best friends and super happy. my cousin also met her husband online, and they’ve been happily married for 7 years or so, with two super cute kids.

I visited a couple, mostly the large generic sites. Also, important to note I liek to read so there are a couple Bookloversdating(dot)com and bookmatchdating(dot)com , the second is for you if you’re a little older. But I guess you’d say I had a good experience, I fell in love with another book lover.
Good experiences from online dating sites : Yes i have good experiences from online dating sites, in the beginning i signed up to 2 or 3 sites but nothing happen there, i think i was my own fault i don’t have a good profile and i don’t add a picture so my online dating adventure don’t want to work.
After a break in about one years i want to try again and i found the site http://www.1111date.com and i made a profile there, in the begging nothing happened but when i change my profile and add a picture and started to be more social at the site something change and i get some mails and some nice conversations in one of the chat rooms.
So if you use a little time to make a good profile and use the sites i think it will work for all.
